Low Sugar Canned Peach Pie

When fresh peaches are not in season I love making sweet treats with canned peaches instead. This super simple low sugar canned peach pie recipe uses only simple ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen. This is my go to recipe for when I am craving something sweet but don’t have a lot of time to make something complicated.

This pie is perfectly tasty on its own but enjoying it fresh out of the oven with a side of sweet vanilla ice cream is a delicious combination. I hope you enjoy this low sugar canned peach pie recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 can peaches
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, melted butter, baking powder, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Once combined add eggs and continue to mix.
  3. Pour batter into baking pan and set aside(my pan is about 8×8 in)
  4. In another bowl add 1 can peaches drained and diced
  5. Mix nutmeg and cinnamon with peaches
  6. (optional) If you want a sweeter taste you can also add 1/4 cup sugar here.
  7. Gently fold peach chunks into batter, avoid mixing.
  8. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until golden brown
